Assessment.
Finding the perfect wheelchair is a complex process. It’s important to make sure all aspects of your physical, lifestyle, home and travel requirements are covered. But there’s a fine line between thorough and invasive! We ask the right questions to ensure your new wheelchair fulfils all your needs.
Prescription.
As an independent service provider we are able to prescribe from a wide range of wheelchairs. This means we recommend the optimal wheelchair and configuration for your exact needs. Once you receive our recommendation you will have the opportunity to ask further questions and take the time to consider your purchase.
Handover.
We keep in close communication with our clients so you’ll receive regular progress updates about your wheelchair. During handover we will make any required adjustments to get a Taylor Made fit right from the very start. We will coach you through user instructions, storage, maintenance and of course answer all your questions.
Maintenance.
When you choose a wheelchair from Taylor Made you get continued access to support and maintenance. For manual wheelchairs we include a free first year service. Powered wheelchairs receive free first and second year servicing. We book these services in when we handover your wheelchair and choose dates before manufacturer warranties expire.
Assessments that suit you.
We conduct assessments all over the Midlands and neighbouring areas. Our specialist assessor will arrange a time and location that fits your schedule. You are welcome to invite family, friends or your healthcare specialists.
During the assessment we will discuss your requirements and take a few non-invasive measurements. In many cases we can bring with us a demonstration wheelchair for you to try.
